There is a family feeling here at Kingsettle Stud Weddings, and the close relationships that we build with both the couples who get married here and trusted wedding suppliers who return to our venue is really special.

So, we're launching a new blog where we invite familiar faces to 'spill the tea' so that you can get to know some of the suppliers who are regularly booked for weddings here.

Our first guest is wedding and event planner and coordinator Stacey Page! We hope you enjoy finding out a little bit more about Stacey and her insights for creating a seamless wedding day...

Can you tell us a bit about your business and how you got started in the wedding industry?

I have worked in hospitality since I was 17 years old, which included hotels and working at sea on a Princess cruise line. Whilst in this role I was always very involved with the weddings and events side which is where my passion developed and love for weddings grew.

What do you love most about working on weddings at Kingsettle Stud?

My team and I love it when we coordinate at Kingsettle Stud because we feel very at home there and it is such a privilege to work somewhere so beautiful. Susie and Rory and the rest of their team always make us feel welcome and the couples we work with are absolutely 'our ideal clients' which makes weddings at Kingsettle so enjoyable!!

What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding?

My advice to all couples is to not let family take over and ensure you have the day YOU both want and remember why you are having the day in the first place. To celebrate your love and to celebrate YOU...not your family.

How do you help couples stay stress-free on the day?

We often have power hours (pay as you go planning) with our couples at some point during their planning journey to help keep them on track or assist with any bits they have forgotten.

We then have a final details meeting with our couples usually a month before their special day and will work with them after this until the day itself. This lead-up support helps reduce or even remove a lot of stress by having a trusted professional to keep them on track and to communicate with whenever needed.

On the day itself, we are there to liaise with any suppliers, guests or family members and will coordinate the day from the church to back at Kingsettle for the reception. We are there every step of the way and can make last minute changes/amendments (with permission of course!) to truly enhance the day. No job is too big OR too small for us.

What’s one small detail that can make a big impact on the overall experience?

Personalised touches such as stationery that are truly consistent throughout, can really highlight a wedding! This can prove to be extremely memorable, from fun games at the tables to favours, menus, name places etc. When touches like these are created and designed on matching stationery, it can really enhance the aesthetic of the day.

And finally… What is your best party trick?!

I am not sure it is a party trick but I can moonwalk and I know all the cheesy 90s/00s party dances (or any before that probably)!!
