Kitty and Rebecca - Two Crooked Ladies - timed their September wedding to coincide with Mabon, a pagan festival that celebrates the Autumn Equinox, and the entire day exuded a warm autumnal atmosphere, entirely reflecting their own style...

The peaceful arboretum immersed their guests in nature - it was the perfect spiritual location for their ceremony, which included hand-fasting and broom jumping, followed by drinks in our wild and atmospheric woodland glade. Kitty and Rebecca looked 'Maleficent' in black dresses, with bouquets incorporating skulls found on the Estate.

The Carriage Room was adorned with symbolic decorations crafted from natural materials, decorative gourds and corn dolls - incorporating warm and welcoming tones of rust and amber in the flowers by Little Lillies. Kitty and Rebecca had a real team of helpers for their DIY buffet, and it was fabulous getting to know their tribe over the weekend.

There were so many thoughtful details - including beautifully decorated cupcakes, dried flowers, pumpkins, broomsticks, and an amazing ombre tower of macaroons!

Finally, our Archway space was filled with fun and dancing as these Two Crooked Ladies partied with their guests until the clock struck twelve...

Kitty and Rebecca wrote a glowing review of their experience...

"Kingsettle Stud was the most amazing venue for our wedding. From start to finish, Susie was helpful, flexible and supportive of our planning. Nothing was too much trouble and her advice and support was incredible when we were setting up the day before. Susie also offered help and advice on trusted contacts and suppliers which was invaluable. The venue itself is stunning. We were able to have our ceremony in the meadow, but the Carriage House was on standby in case of bad weather. The stables were the perfect place for our night time reception. We loved that the venue itself is a blank canvas that we could use to decorate in our own style. The shepherd’s hut we stayed in was comfortable, very well designed and the welcome basket was beyond generous. In short, we couldn’t recommend Kingsettle Stud more."

Thank you Kitty and Rebecca, we adored your wonderfully witchy wedding!
